Description
Intrinsically safe UHF transceiver (model JHS-431, Japan Radio Co.) for onboard communications during ship operations, loading and unloading, and mooring. It answers the SOLAS II-2/10 amendment on firefighters’ communication — ships built on or after 1 July 2014 carry at least two explosion-proof or intrinsically safe portable sets for each fire party — and its ATEX intrinsically safe build suits tanker, LPG carrier, LNG carrier and LO carrier service with flammable cargoes. Three more communication channels can be installed as a preset option.
